- Take a stand up and stretch break every 30 minutes.
- Walk to the farthest restroom.
- Stand up and walk around if possible when on the phone.
- Take a short walk once an hour.
- If your watching TV or reading, stand up and move during commercials or between chapters.
Start small and let it grow from there. Before you know it you’ll be mindful of your actions, walking regularly, mixing in resistance training, eating healthier, feeling better…and it started with just getting up and moving. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to stretch.
